So, what’s the deal with Boop the Snoot then? My wife and I recently moved our homebase out of the city to Guelph and I started of thinking of ways I could apply my business locally. That, combined with the fact that I’ve been animal obsessed since before I could walk (I’ve got photos to prove it), made me decide to combine my powers! I love the challenge that photographing animals provides (train them as much as you want, I’ve yet to meet a dog who understands “look about ever so slightly to your right, tilt your head 3 degrees and give me a relaxed smile”), and I love how excited people are to see their pets in such a different way.

Speaking of those furry (or scaley) things, I’m a proud dog father to Byrdie and Beastly; (a musclebound 90+lb lab/golden mix and a lil’ bebe pocket-sized pug, respectively) as well as Moose (an impossibly cute pug/beagle mix), who sadly left us a couple years ago. It was in part Moose’s passing, as well as that of some earlier pups I had photographed in studio, that made me realize how much people can appreciate top-shelf images of their pets. Yes, there are colossal prints of our dogs spread throughout our house, and I hope you will be saying the same soon!
